Business constellations workshop
Organizational constellations (also known as Business Constellations) are a systemic method of researching organizational dynamics, applied in many large companies around the world.
Through a systemic view and working in a group, it becomes visible what is otherwise difficult to explain: where exactly the stagnation occurs, what is the internal dynamics of the team and what is the healthy direction for further development.
This approach allows the organization to be seen as a living system – with relationships, roles, expectations, and internal movements that influence results and culture.
About the method
Business constellations are a systemic and experiential method that maps relationships in a team, project or organization.
Instead of a theoretical model, the elements of the situation are placed in space and visually show the structure of the relationship. The group sees how one challenge affects the whole, what is the background of the stagnation and where there is potential for further development.
This method is compatible with analytics, internal data and business metrics. Numbers and tables describe the situation, while the dynamics of relationships are difficult to measure and cannot be fully calculated. Constellations therefore represent a complementary advantage: a horizontal, vertical and systemic view of the organization as a whole.
How organizational constellations work
The work takes place in a group, through facilitation.
The key elements of a question are placed in space, which allows them to become visible:
-
relationship between roles
-
place where a blockage occurs
-
lines of influence and expectations
-
dynamics of old and new
-
ambiguity in responsibility
-
points where the system loses momentum
Constellations do not offer ready-made solutions.
They open up a view, and from that view the team can see more clearly what is a sustainable direction and what step belongs to the organization.
The solution does not come from outside – it arises through the insight and decisions of the people who live the system.
Cooperation with organizations
In working with companies, I use integrated knowledge from the Gestalt approach, specialization in Gestalt psychotherapy in organizations, as well as experience from business constellations, where I am with additional specialization in business constellations
This combination allows the company to be viewed as a living organism, and not just as a structure in an organizational chart. The focus is on relationships, the role of leaders, team dynamics, responsibility and the space in which the organization develops.
The cooperation includes:
System diagnostics and assessment
System assessment through constellative work and systemic perspective.
Working with teams
Workshops that deal with specific business challenges and issues that are important to the team at a time of transition or change.
Consultative work with leaders
Drawing insights from constellations into leadership responsibility, decisions and direction integration.
Workshops
Workshops are organized as practical work in a group.
The duration can be one or two days, depending on the topic and the goal of the company.
The structure of the workshop includes:
-
introduction to the method
-
defining the question and setting up the system
-
working in constellations
-
reflection and integration of insight
Workshops are not presentations, but experiential work that takes place in a group, with a focus on real topics brought up by the team.
Open workshops (individual topics)
Business constellations are also used for personal professional dilemmas – especially when the topic is related to a leadership role, transition, project or team relationship.
Open workshops are intended for professionals who want to see where internal or external obstacles arise and what their healthy career path is.
Conclusion
Business constellations are a method that shows the system as it is.
When you see where life is in the organization, you can also see the way.
From that space comes clarity and the ability for the team to take its next step.
